Get on your bike to Glastonbury!

3rd June 2017

Did you know the Festival has a dedicated campsite for cyclists (with showers)? You can also have your luggage brought to the site from a range of locations!

The “Bike to Glasto” service is for cyclists who want to ride to the Festival independently and lock their bikes up for free during the Festival.

Cyclists can also choose to use a return luggage transport service from one of more than a dozen luggage drop-off locations in Bristol and across Somerset – and London! – for a small charge.

The information and booking website is www.biketoglasto.co.uk.  To keep in touch follow them on Twitter and the Bike to Glasto Facebook group.

Those wishing to make their own, self-contained way to the Festival by bike are still welcome to come. The Festival site is just a few miles south of Route 3 of the National Cycle Network, which runs between Glastonbury and Wells. For route planning advice, check out Cycle Streets’ Glastonbury Route Planner.

If you’re coming on your bicycle, please follow signs for Yellow Gate, and then you’ll be directed towards the cycle lock-up which is adjacent to Pedestrian Gate A (PGA).
