Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza this weekend - Sunday tickets still available!

7th August 2009

This year’s Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza kicks off tomorrow, with sunny weather currently forecast for both days (hurrah!). Tickets are sold out for Saturday’s Status Quo gig, but there are still some available for Sunday’s classical show, featuring the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Aled Jones, Jo Appleby, Andrew Rees and the Corelli Quartet – plus a full-on fireworks finale. You can bring your own picnics and drinks and it really is a lovely day out.

Advance tickets cost £30 for adults and £15 for children aged 6-15, with no charge for 5 and unders. You can buy them by visiting the nice folks at Festival Office at 28 Northload Street, Glastonbury, or by calling them on 01458 834596. There’s no booking fee if you pay by cash or debit card (or £1.50 if you pay by credit card).
