As always, Glastonbury Festival presents a brilliant selection of bars across the site. With more venues than ever, you’ll never be far from your favourite tipple. Whether it’s real ale, a pint of local cider or a fabulous cocktail, you won’t be disappointed.
Firm favourites such as the Meeting Place, West Holts Bar, the Cockmill, Avalon Inn, the Park Bar and the Cornish Arms will be making a welcome return and are all stocked to the brim, ready for your arrival.
On Thursday night in the Glade Bar we’re getting freaky with a Day of the Dead tequila party – paint your face, try a frozen margarita and dance til the early hours! If whisky is your thing, there will also be a dedicated Tennessee Whiskey Bar within the Meeting Place serving cocktails, straight on the rocks or by the jug.
So to help you on your travels, why not visit one of the many bars at the end of your journey or at the meeting place to catch up with friends. The variety of bars is endless, find your favourite!
Glade Bar
Come down to the Glade Bar on Thursday night when a taste of Mexico comes to Glastonbury. Join us for our tequila night and live life in its most vibrant form at our blacklight party! Try our strawberry frozen maragarita or treat yourself to a jug of Paloma!
With its feet planted firmly in the future, the G-Stage Bar is an ode to the techno-gyptians of tomorrow. Come inside our monolithic pyramid, slowly being sucked skyward by the ethereal high priests of the Glade. All hail the Gods of Techno!
West Holts Bar
The West Holts Bar holds the torch for the Jazz world field of yesteryear with a music policy that encompasses all strains of jazz/soul/rock with emphasis always being on originality & quality. Featuring an Aztec-style frontage with our Foxes standing guard, come in, bring your friends and dance the night away to in this friendly and colourful venue. Although a great place to sit back, chill and enjoy the live music taking place on the West Holts stage, in between artists the West Holts Bar will be featuring its own entertainment, including the Festival-Famous “Big Fat Festival Quiz” which will be making a welcome return.
The Meeting Place
Come and meet your friends at The Meeting Place! This market bar has become a firm favourite and returns to take its rightful place opposite Williams Green within the festival’s street and food market. This is the perfect place to meet your friends, kick back, and as the sun goes down, try to stop yourself from dancing as our DJs bring the beach bar vibes to the heart of the festival. Treat yourself and your friends to a cocktail pitcher from our Tennessee Whisky Bar – sharing is caring!
The Cockmill
This rustic, traditional bar filled with cosy snugs offers the finest choice of craft and real ales at Glastonbury Festival. Located in the heart of the Acoustic Field, the selection of twelve ales, including three local Somerset ales, will be sure to keep any beer aficionado happy. Away from the hustle and bustle of the main Festival, the Cockmill also offers beautiful panoramic views of the site, and one of the best night time scenes.
Craft Cider Stall at Williams Green
Featuring cider lovingly made in the heart of Somerset with the finest apples, located in William’s Green, come for a pint of refreshing appley goodness.
Park Bar
This fantastically multi-coloured venue features a colourful Bollywood theme and specialises in a range of local ales, making the Park Bar the place to be in this iconic field. Sit back and relax, and you could almost begin to believe you’re sipping the finest beer under the vibrant lights of the blue city of Rajasthan.
Brew Bars
Dotted around the site are the newest additions to the Glastonbury bar offerings – our Brew Bars bring you classic and premium spirits with a range of gins for all you gin lovers, craft beers, sparkling prosecco and the fabulous frozen maragritas – perfect to quench your thirst in the glorious sunshine. Find the Brew Bars in Silver Hayes, the Glade and by the Bandstand.
The Hop & Liquor
A great man once said “Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy”. You will be more than happy with our choice of beers, ecstatic about our cocktails and overjoyed by the atmosphere. On Thursday we’re bringing you a very special DJ set from Savages – don’t miss it!
Avalon Inn
One of the wonders of the Glastonbury world – the medieval Avalon Inn – will be appearing once more in the legendary Field of Avalon. Order a beer and have some banter with the serving wenches, sit in comfort a stones throw from the Avalon stage and soak up the atmosphere
The Cornish Arms
This Cornish Ale Pub is situated in the heart of Glastonbury main town and just beside the Leftfield Stage. The bar will be serving a selection of fine festival beverages including Cornish ales like Proper Job, delicious rum cocktails and espresso martinis. A welcome space to sit down, put your feet up and listen to the DJ’s. An easy going meeting spot in the middle of town for further adventures to the main stages and beyond. Don’t forget DJ Nipsy’s ‘Bloody Mary Dub Breakfast’ in the mornings!
Rock the Kasbah
The Glastonbury famous Rock the Kasbah returns for another year, providing festival goers with the best chill out bar experience Glastonbury has to offer. Located between West Holts and Leftfield, Rock the Kasbah is a Moroccan themed experience ever festival goer must see! With amazing scenery and a magnitude of colour, Rock the Kasbah will play host to a variety of acts over the weekend. So why not sit back on our cushions, look up at the star lit ceiling and enjoy the incredible Glastonbury atmosphere.
The Chameleon
From the Wednesday Night Silent Disco, to the Giant Twister Board, The Chameleon Bar is like no other! This multicoloured funky venue offers the best nightlife between the Pyramid and Other Stage. From your old skool to your current anthems, Chameleon bar is one not to be missed! From 10am until 3 am daily, our bar staff will be waiting to supply you with ice cold drinks whilst you play on our garden games, watch live acts and hopefully some Glastonbury sun. So make sure you come down to visit us, and DO NOT miss the Wednesday night Silent disco. Always a festival favourite!
This year, we have 3 acts: Tony Bowen- Our Human Jukebox, Rachel Bettesworth and Mary Spender.
Ridge and Furrow
Located in the cabaret field in the striking pink and blue big top this bar is always an great place to visit with an eclectic music policy that is perfect for lazing around in the sun or later on, dancing under the moonlight. As well as a fully stocked bar there will be a wide variety of cocktails on offer and who knows – you might even see a flying pig or two!
The Open Arms
Located just off the main drag opposite the Greenpeace field The Open Arms is the festivals newest live music venue. As well as bar offering cocktails & ales there will be coffee and mocktails for those wanting to stay focused. If you or your band would rather be on stage than off it, drop in and ask for the stage manager.
Theatre Bar
This is our 4th year in the theatre and circus field offering a wide range of ales lagers wines and spirits all mixed up with an eclectic selection of Djs playing until 3am.
Craft Tavern
A new addition to the theatre and circus field situated next to the Theatre bar. The craft tavern will have a range of craft ales and lagers from around the world, come and try something new.
TRICKETTS
At the very top of the site, adjacent to the Glastonbury sign is ‘Tricketts’, a wooden shack serving craft ales, great wines as well as all the usual bits and pieces. A trip up the hill is a must to check out THE best view in town!
