Glastonbury Festival in association with Q magazine is pleased to announce the return of the Emerging Talent Competition for 2009. The competition website is now open for artists and bands to upload their entries and will remain open until January 26th 2009.

The deposit scheme has been a great success but will come to a close on February 1st. From February 2nd a limited number of full price tickets will be available, subject to availability and registration. If you are buying a ticket outright you can also buy car parking or campervan tickets

Vampire Video
Festival organiser Emily Eavis has picked her favourite Vampire Weekend song as the soundtrack to a new Glastonbury film now showing on the internet. The live version of 'Oxford Comma', filmed by the BBC this year at a jam-packed John Peel Tent, is intercut with many of the organiser's all-time greatest moments from Glastonbury 2008. Michael Eavis has announced a dream line-up for the 2009 Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza, which will take place on the weekend of August 8th and 9th at the historic Glastonbury Abbey grounds.
