Design a flag for our Live At Worthy Farm stream

Last modified: April 21, 2021

Photo: Andrew Allcock

On Saturday, May 22, we’ll be broadcasting our Live At Worthy Farm global livestream (with encore screenings on Sunday, May 23) – and although the farm will be entirely closed to visitors, we’d love to feature your homemade flags in the broadcast.

We’re looking for flags that celebrate:

– Diversity & equality across all communities
– A cleaner, greener, fairer world
– Love
– All colours of the rainbow
– Freedom to protest

We want them to be as homemade as possible – all artistic abilities are welcome, just be creative and get your craft on. They can be tie-dye, stitched, painted…anything! Just make them as bright and colourful as you can.

Flags should be made of material – preferably cotton – and definitely not paper or cardboard. Please don’t glue / attach anything to them, especially not plastic. Please do not use glitter of any kind. Everything must be stitched and fully secured, as your flag could be flying in the wind.

The dimensions / aspect should be as below.

Please send your flags to the following address, to arrive by Wednesday, May 5th.

Worthy Flags
PO Box 4288
Shepton Mallet
BA4 9BB

Please note that we will not be able to confirm receipt of flags, or return them. But they will be kept for potential future use / display at the Festival.

We’re really looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

If you’re having issues, please try these troubleshooting steps:

Please contact info@driift.live to register your interest and we’ll be in touch.

We recommend that you check your WiFi router is working properly & you can connect to the internet ok. Aside from that, don’t forget to put some drinks in the fridge & order that pizza……

Can I rewind to specific sets to watch?
Yes. The set list with set times will be on the page below the video so you’ll know where to skip back to. You’re able to rewind and fast forward (up to the live point) as much as you like. Please be aware that after five hours beyond the scheduled end time, the video will cease to play on the livestream event page, and the rewind feature will no longer be available.

Can I pause the livestream whilst doing something else?
Yes. We’ll pause the stream for you until your press play again. Tap or select the pause button in the bottom left of the player. If you have ordered a ticket + poster bundle, your poster will be despatched by Sandbag. Pre-orders placed by 30 April will be despatched from week commencing May 10th, 2021. Orders placed from 1 May will be despatched from week commencing May 24th, 2021. If you need further help, please contact our Shop Customer Service team HERE. If you would like to purchase additional posters, please head over to the Glastonbury web shop HERE.

I purchased a ticket but can no longer attend. Can I get a refund?
Unfortunately this event is non-refundable.

Can I record the show?
Audio or video recording on your own device is strictly prohibited. Knowledge of such actions, including posting a video of the stream, can hurt your chances of being able to view or access virtual events in the future.

Can I add a donation to my booking, and where will it go?
When booking a ticket for the Livestream, you will be given the option to add a donation to your order, in denominations of 2, 5 and 10 of the currency you are booking in.
Your donations will be split equally between the Festival’s main three supported causes, Oxfam, Greenpeace and WaterAid.
The Festival’s joint charities share a common goal of working together for people and the planet, by taking action against some of the biggest challenges of our time like climate change and the impact of the pandemic. Together, we are working with communities around the world who have been hit the hardest, to deliver solutions that save lives and overcome injustice, but we need your help to make a real difference.
Just a £5 donation could help pay for a tap to pipe clean water to a household in Southern Africa, changing the lives of a whole family whilst £10 could buy a hygiene kit with the basics everyone needs to survive and thrive from soap to sanitary pads. Please give what you can.

Bill Harkin first came to Glastonbury towards the end of 1970. He was delivering products to the health shops in the town and decided to walk up the Tor where he met Andrew Kerr. They both became aware of very powerful feelings of spirituality and agreed the need for a new age of looking at life towards a utopian society. After more intense discussions these conversations led to the idea of a large music festival with a Pyramid as centre stage. That’s when they came to me for a suitable site!

I liked the idea but was slightly wary of the reality, although was captivated by their childlike excitement. Bill was a top-flight architect working for British Leyland car launches at the time but he soon became caught up with the festival to be named Glastonbury Fair, and came up with the very first Pyramid at Worthy Farm.

His enthusiasm and dedication led to what we have now – thank you so much Bill! In more recent years he was involved with the design of the structures at the Eden Project, first in Cornwall and now across the world.

An inspirational life well lived – and simply loved by us all.

The Worthy Farm cheddar is also available as a cheese and pickle sandwich.

A statement from Glastonbury Festival

Last modified: January 5, 2022

Statement 21 January, 2021

With great regret, we must announce that this year’s Glastonbury Festival will not take place, and that this will be another enforced fallow year for us.

In spite of our efforts to move Heaven & Earth, it has become clear that we simply will not be able to make the Festival happen this year. We are so sorry to let you all down.

As with last year, we would like to offer all those who secured a ticket in October 2019 the opportunity to roll their £50 deposit over to next year, and guarantee the chance to buy a ticket for Glastonbury 2022. We are very appreciative of the faith and trust placed in us by those of you with deposits, and we are very confident we can deliver something really special for us all in 2022!

We thank you for your incredible continued support and let’s look forward to better times ahead.

With love,

Michael & Emily

2021 CANCELLATION FAQS

I paid a deposit for Glastonbury 2020, which was rolled over to 2021, what will happen to my ticket now?

Ticket deposits which were valid at the point of the 2021 Festival being cancelled can be automatically rolled over to a like-for-like booking for the 2022 Festival. A like-for-like booking means that coach package deposits for 2021 will roll over to coach package deposits for 2022, and general admission ticket deposits for 2021 will roll over to general admission deposits for 2022. It is not possible to swap from a coach package to general admission or vice versa.

You will not need to do anything for your ticket booking to roll over however if you would prefer to cancel your booking and receive a full refund of your deposit (and coach fare if applicable) without incurring any cancellation fees, you can do so, up to 31st December 2021, using the online form to request a refund, up to the end of December 2021.

Any refunds will be issued to the original payment card. If you choose to cancel after 31st December 2021, the usual admin fees will apply.

Please note that the 2022 Terms and Conditions, which have been updated to reflect the extension to the free cancellation deadline to the 31st December 2021, apply to all bookings, including those rolled over.

I am a local resident who booked a Sunday Ticket for Glastonbury 2020, what will happen to my ticket?

Sunday Ticket bookings which were valid at the point of Festival cancellation can be rolled over to a like-for-like booking to the 2022 Festival. You will not need to do anything for the ticket booking to roll over. You will automatically be assigned to the equivalent bus option for the 2022 Festival.

If you would like to cancel your ticket booking you will be able to request a full refund, without incurring any cancellation fees, you can do so using the online form, up to the end of September 2021.

Any refunds will be issued to the original payment card. If you choose to cancel after 31st December 2021, the usual admin fees will apply.

Please note that the 2022 Terms and Conditions, which have been updated to reflect the extension to the free cancellation deadline to the 31st December 2021, apply to all bookings, including those rolled over from the 2020 Festival.

I’ve booked a Campervan Pass / accommodation at Worthy View / Sticklinch / an onsite Tipi, what will happen to my booking?

Accommodation bookings which were valid at the point of Festival cancellation can also be rolled over for a like-for-like booking for the 2022 Festival. You will not need to do anything for the booking to roll over.

If you would like to cancel your official accommodation or campervan ticket booking, you will be able to request a full refund, without incurring any cancellation fees, until 31st December 2021 by contacting See Tickets Customer Services at glastonbury@seetickets.com with the order reference number for your accommodation booking.

One of my group is no longer able to attend, what will happen to by booking?

If a member of your group is no longer able to attend the Festival, they will be able to request a refund of their ticket using the refund request form here, leaving the rest of the ticket bookings in the original order standing, however please note that any refunds will be issued to the original payment card.

If I change my mind after 31st December 2021 will I still be able to get a full refund?

After 31st December 2021 up to 6th May 2022 deposits (and bookings for which the balance has been paid) will be refundable subject to the applicable admin fees, as outlined in the 2022 Terms and Conditions, which have been updated to reflect the extension to the free cancellation deadline of 31st December 2021.

How much will tickets for 2022 cost?

We won’t know the price for tickets for the 2022 Festival until later in the year, but we will ensure that full details will be confirmed before the free cancellation deadline, to allow anyone who wishes to cancel their booking free of charge the chance to do so.

When will the 2022 Festival take place?

The 2022 Festival will take place from 22nd – 26th June 2022.

I didn’t get a ticket for 2020, will I still get a chance to book tickets for 2022?

Tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2022 are sold out, with deposits paid for the 2020 Festival having rolled over. However just as we were due to have a resale in April for the 2020 Festival, any tickets for which the deposit is refunded, or the balance is not paid, will be made available in a resale in April 2022. To book tickets in any sale you will first need to be registered.

Registration remains free of charge and only takes a few minutes at www.glastonburyregistration.co.uk. If you are already registered with the Festival, you do not need to re-register. However we would advise you to check your existing registration here and update your photo if it is no longer of a good likeness.

Children aged 12 and under when the Festival takes place are admitted free of charge and do not need a ticket, and do not need to register.

Please note, registration does not guarantee you a ticket (and in recent years, demand for tickets has outstripped supply).

I’ve paid my deposit and want a ticket for 2022, when do I need to pay the remaining balance?

The remaining ticket balance for tickets rolled over to 2022 is payable during the April 2022 balance payment window. The remaining balance will be calculated from the 2022 ticket price which will be confirmed prior to the free cancellation deadline.

If the ticket price for 2022 changes, would I pay the 2022 price?

Yes, whilst your deposit will be rolled over to a like-for-like booking, the remaining balance payable will be the balance of the 2022 ticket price, not the 2020 ticket price.

I didn’t manage to book accommodation for the 2020 Festival, will I still be able to book accommodation for 2022?

Yes, any accommodation cancellations will be made available in an accommodation resale.

I booked a coach package for 2020 but don’t want to get the coach in 2022, can I change my booking

Your deposit will only be valid for a like-for-like booking, if you had booked a coach package, your deposit will only be valid for a coach package for 2022. If you no longer wish to travel by coach, you will need to cancel your existing booking and try for a general admission ticket within the ticket resales in 2021.

I’ve booked a coach package, will the coach departure point still be the same for 2022?

If you had booked a coach package for the 2020 Festival, and have had the booking rolled over to 2022, See will try to keep the coach departure locations the same.

I’ve booked a coach package, will the cost of the coach also be rolled over?

If you had booked a coach package for the 2020 Festival, the deposit and coach travel will be rolled over for a like-for-like booking to the 2022 Festival.

Why isn’t the Festival just being postponed until later in the year?

The global response to the coronavirus pandemic is still changing daily, and it is too early to tell when restrictions on mass gatherings, and the demands on our emergency services will be loosened.

I can’t make it in 2022, can the ticket be made valid for a different future Festival?

No, if you would not be able to make the 2022 Festival the booking would not be valid for a different future Festival. You would need to cancel the ticket booking and be issued with a refund.

Do I have to do anything to make sure my deposit is carried over?

No, ticket deposits will automatically be carried over for the 2022 Festival. You would however need to pay the 2022 remaining ticket balance during the 2022 balance payment window.

If I cancel my deposit now, can I have priority for 2022 or future booking?

There will not be any priority given to those who choose to cancel their ticket booking. If you choose to cancel your booking and later decide to try for a ticket to Glastonbury 2022 or a future Festival, you would need to go through the ticket sale process as normal.

I’ve booked private accommodation/travel/holiday/other third party expenses, will these costs be reimbursed?

If you have booked private accommodation or travel through a third party you will need to liaise directly with the company, organisation or person you made your booking with or seek a refund via your travel insurer. Glastonbury Festival takes no responsibility for services offered by third parties.

My child who did not require a ticket for the 2020 Festival will be 13 by the time of the 2022 Festival, what should I do?

If you have tickets which you are rolling over for the 2022 Festival and your child will turn 13 between 24th June 2020 and 22nd June 2022, please submit their registration at (www.glastonburyregistration.co.uk) and once you have their registration number, please contact us using the ‘Any Other Enquiries’ option on the Festival Contact form as soon as possible ahead of 31st December 2021, for information on how to book an additional ticket.

I cancelled my booking before the 2020 Festival was cancelled, can I get my booking reinstated?

If you cancelled your booking before the Festival was cancelled, it will not be possible to reinstate the booking; however any cancelled tickets will be made available in a resale in April 2022, so if you have cancelled your deposit, you will have the chance to book again when tickets go on resale in 2022.

Ray Brooks worked for us through the years as a brilliant artist. His major works here were the angel at Jean’s Garden and of course the famous dragon at Kings Meadow.

Thank you Ray – never to be forgotten.
