Shakira added to 2010 line-up

We’re delighted to announce that Colombian pop superstar Shakira has been added to the line-up for this year’s Festival. She will appear on the Pyramid Stage on the Saturday of the Festival (June 26th).

Says Emily Eavis: "Shakira is not only an amazing pop star but also socially and politically forward thinking; she’s working incredibly hard for good causes around the world. We feel honoured to have the she wolf herself come to Worthy Farm!"

Says Shakira: "I’m really looking forward to playing Glastonbury this year and being a part of their 40th anniversary. Glastonbury is famous for being one of the best festival crowds, so I’m sure I’ll have a great time."
