Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza



The Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza concert will return on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024, with a headline performance from Keane who are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their acclaimed debut album, Hopes And Fears. Tickets are on sale now.

Also performing in the Abbey’s historic surroundings will be the Shepton Mallet Big Band, plus special guests to be announced! The event will conclude with the traditional fireworks finale.

Tickets cost £45 for adults and £25 for children aged up to 16. Any remaining tickets will cost £50 / £30 on the gate. Glastonbury Abbey PLUS members receive a 10% discount on tickets (you will need your membership card number to purchase).

Tickets purchased online before 5pm on Wednesday 13th of December will be posted before Christmas. Tickets purchased after this date will be posted before the event. The Glastonbury Abbey shop has closed temporarily due to the abbey’s town deal piazza project. However, tickets can be purchased for Christmas from the temporary ticket office at the abbey’s temporary entrance on Magdalene Street up until 3pm on December 24th.

Access to the Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza 2024

Please note, due to ongoing redevelopment works at the Abbey Gatehouse, access routes into this year’s Extravaganza will be different to in previous years.

On Magdalene Street:

GATE B opposite St Marys Walk will be the main entrance for all ticket holders, including those with accessibility requirements who may not be parked in our Blue Badge Parking off Silver Street.

GATE A will be for ticket holders arriving at the event by coach or minibus, or being dropped off by the Park and Ride service only. Ticket holders arriving by bus/coach/park and ride, will be dropped off in the car park on Magdalene Street, from where you can enter the Abbey site via gate A. Please note there is no other pedestrian access / egress via Gate A directly from Magdalene Street.

On Silver Street

GATE F is open to all ticket holders, especially for all those wanting to enter from the High Street and north side of Glastonbury. Please note this entrance is not suitable for those with Accessibility requirements.

GATE G offers priority access for those ticket holders with accessibility requirements, particularly for those who have parked in the Blue Badge parking on Silver Street.
